LOVEHATE

 

: an exhibition of paintings with a perspective born out of a personal journey.

 

The work speaks of inertia induced by love and hate as seen through the eyes of a victim of this symbiotic union. Stuck, I was left questioning Einstein’s definition of insanity (doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results), I’ve constructed this narrative; paintings with repetitive compositions but with manipulated colours to form these intimate illustrations of figures inspired by real and imagined relationships, all hinged upon a common dichotomy…LOVEHATE
