She’s waiting for a message from the sky

So, she stays high

She bares her spirit to the tides 

Still

In black and wine 

Is this what purgatory feels like? 

She feeds her spirit to the tides 

Waiting for a message from the night

She falls asleep on the edge 

of the highest point in her head 

and dreams of wings in blue.

As two hearts beat off the edge 

the burden breaks 

She wakes 

The sky replies 

In tears of time 

She cries out to the night 

Casting spells in black and white 

Why?

So, she stays high 

Awaiting a message from the sky
